The Community Literacy Education Center was established on March 30, 2007 as a State of Texas 501(C) 3 organization and began operations in August of the same year. We are located at 5400 Pinemont Drive, Suite 110, Houston, Texas 77092

 

Mission

To improve life opportunities of low-income students and adults through the provision of a Community Literacy Education Center (CLEC); to help students and adults become proficient readers.
